A. DOMESTIC MAIL SERVICES
  1. ORDINARY MAIL - includes all unrecorded items which are charged the basic postage and delivered through the regular delivery channels. Mails are classified into first, second and third class.
  2. REGISTERED MAIL – Registered mails are recorded special security, with the entire process recorded from acceptance at the counter to delivery to the addressee. As a proof of delivery, the sender may attach a registry return receipt to be signed by the recipient as evidence of delivery.
  3. DOMESTIC EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE (DEMS) - DEMS is the fastest means of sending urgent messages, business documents or to addressees within its service network. Generally, DEMS items are delivered within the following day from the date of mailing provided they are posted on or before the prescribed cut-off time. Currently, the service is available in all major cities and towns nationwide.
  4. PRIORITY MAIL – Priority mails are next-day delivery of unrecorded mails in metro manila and selected cities and town nationwide if posted on or before 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Priority mails are given priority at acceptance and delivery. This service is available in Metro Manila and in selected cities and municipalities nationwide.
  5. COLLECT-ON-DELIVERY SERVICE (C.O.D) – Mailable articles are merchandise, including books, magazines, periodicals and other printed matters may be sent or collect-on-delivery, where the amount of due is paid by the addressee upon delivery of the articles.
  6. FAX MAIL SERVICE - This is an electronic mail service which provides the fastest means of transmission and delivery of written message or documents. This service is available in selected major post offices nationwide.
  7. DOMESTIC PARCEL SERVICE – The domestic parcel service is a convenient means of sending non-perishable foodstuff, handicrafts, and other merchandise to addressees within the country. This service is available in all post offices nationwide. Parcels may either be sent by air or surface means.
  8. POSTAL MONEY ORDER SERVICE - The postal money order service is a safe and convenient means of sending remittances. A maximum amount of P20,000.00 can be sent by one remitter to a single payee per day. This service is available in most post offices nationwide.
  9. GENERAL DELIVERY SERVICE - Transients who have no fixed address in a locality can have their mail addressed c/o General Delivery followed by the name of the local post office where they can call for them at their convenience.
  10. BUSINESS REPLY ENVELOPES/CARDS - Business reply cards and business reply envelopes may be sent to parties within the country and return by mail to the sender whose name appears on the card envelope as the addressee without prepayment of postage. Postage and other charges shall be paid by the addressee upon delivery. Persons or business firms desiring to avail the service may file a written application with the regional office concerned. The application shall indicate the post office where the cards or envelopes are to be returned and pledge that the postage and other charges, if any shall be paid at the time of delivery.
  11. PHILATELY - Philately or stamp collecting is considered the world’s most fascinating hobby. Through philately, one can learn of a country’s history, art, culture, nature and industry as depicted in special and commemorative stamps. Philatelic stamps come in different forms: Mint, Cancelled, Setenant, Souvenir Sheets and Sheetlets. Other philatelic products such as first-day covers, stamp albums and presentation packs are available at the Stamps and Philatelic Division of the Manila Central Post Office and in major post offices nationwide.
  12. LOCKS BOXES - Lock boxes are installed in major post offices for rent to postal customers. This facility provides special handling, security and utmost confidentiality for mail of individuals and business firms including government offices. They are available in three (3) different sizes: small, medium and large
  13. POSTAL IDENTITY CARD - The Postal Identity Card designed by the universal Postal Union is the most widely accepted means of identification in postal transactions, both locally and worldwide. Generally, banks and other financial institutions honor the postal ID as a proof of identity in their transactions. Postal ID or cards are valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of issuance.
  14. ADDRESS CHECK SERVICE – The Address Check Service offers to validate and provide Business entities, especially those involved in Direct Marketing, with the correct addressees of their customers within a locality, region or nationwide at minimum costs.
  15. UNADDRESSED ADVERTISING MAIL SERVICE - With our Unaddressed Advertising Mail Service which is initially available in Metro Manila, you get optimum advertising mileage for your products and services at the east cost. You can send your brochures, flyers, cards, catalogues including product samples to your customers in specific areas of your choice. Moreover, you can even send announcements, public notices, important news items and research or survey questionnaires which we will deliver at your target customers’ doorstep.
  16. EXPRESS POUCH SERVICE - The next day door to door delivery of the items that will fit into the pouch bag which are available in three (3) sizes. Small, Medium, Large. It is a guaranteed next day delivery service.
  17. PHILHEALTH COLLECTIONS - This is the acceptance of Philhealth premium contribution of employers, whether government or private including household employers, individually paying members (self employed, voluntary member) and local government units (municipalities and barangays.)

B. INTERNATIONAL MAIL SERVICES
  1. LETTER POST - Letter Post items consists of letters and cards. Items consisting of letters and post cards weighing not more than 2 kilos can be accepted in post offices and postal stations for delivery in any part of the world. They may be sent by air or surface means. Aerogrammes or air letter sheets which fall under this category provide the customer with a convenient means of sending letters anywhere in the world at a uniform rate of postage which is cheaper than the regular airmail rate for letters.
  2. INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS MAIL SERVICE - (IEMS) - IEMS is the fastest means of sending time sensitive items to addressees abroad. Any article such as documents, samples of merchandise and goods not specifically prohibited by regulations can be sent by IEMS. Currently, the Philippines has bilateral agreements with 45 countries for the reciprocal exchange of EMS items.
  3. AIR PARCEL POST - The fastest means of sending parcels to foreign countries is by air parcel. This service is available only in countries with which the Philippines has bilateral agreements.
  4. SURFACE PARCEL POST - Surface parcel post is the cheapest means of sending parcels to foreign countries with which the Philippines has bilateral agreements. Surface parcels sent to countries with which the Philippines has no agreements may be sent only through the intermediary of the United States of America.
  5. INSURED PARCEL POST - Parcels with a maximum insured value of P5,000.00 may be accepted for delivery in selected foreign countries. At present, this service is available only in Switzerland and United States and its possessions.
  6. REGISTERED MAIL - Letter Post items destined for foreign countries may be accepted as registered mail subject to the same conditions as those of domestic mail. Registered mails are recorded from the time of acceptance until the delivery to the addressee. Indemnity is paid for the loss or damage of registered mail.
  7. INTERNATIONAL REPLY COUPON - Internationally reply coupons are sold to postal customers for use in prepaying reply postage from other countries. The present selling rate of international reply coupon is P45.00 per coupon. Those originating from foreign countries may be exchanged with postage stamps representing the highest charge fixed for an unregistered letter of the first weight step sent by air to a foreign country.
  8. INTERNATIONAL POSTAL MONEY ORDER - all designated domestic money order offices are authorized to transact international money order business with the following countries; Brunei Darussalam, Hong-Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Korea, Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, USA Exchange rates for international money orders are provided by the Central Office to post offices nationwide from time to time.
